September 24, 2009. DREAM. Preeminent newsman Walter Cronkite, the “most trusted man in America,” hired me as his editorial research assistant. Honored to be selected, I was determined to work diligently at my new job. Handing me his notes, Cronkite gave me my first assignment: thoroughly research a series of items he was preparing for that evening’s televised newscast.
Immediately I set about the task. Reading through Cronkite’s notes, I discovered this main topic: Mephistopheles. As I began my research, I awoke.
Interpretation: This dream follows thematically from last night’s contact with El Morya and the Saturnian Council. [See “Saturnian Council Inaugurates New Cycle.” ] Walter Cronkite (who made the transition last July) is a symbol for preeminent teachers of the Motah Council, the “information sources” for spiritual news and education throughout the Federation of Planets, coordinated by the Saturnian Council. In my high Self functions with Motah, I am called to new service at the beginning of the fall cycle.
Mephistopheles is the name of the demon or devil in the Faust legend, which first appeared in literature in the late sixteenth century, but resurfaced perhaps most famously in Goethe’s drama in the nineteenth century. In the German legend, Faust makes a pact with Mephistopheles in exchange for knowledge; proverbially he “sells his soul to the devil.” In the end, Mephistopheles tries to take Faust’s soul when he dies, but is thwarted by divine intervention.
The name Mephistopheles has been variously translated as deriving from Greek elements for “not a lover of light” (in parody of Lucifer, meaning “light-bearer”) and from the Hebrew word Mephistoph, meaning “destroyer of the good.”
Thus, this dream symbol ties in with El Morya’s use of the sword of truth for the United Nations in last night’s contact. The sword of truth symbolizes speaking the word to eliminate negativity and to reinforce the light; to separate error from righteous thinking and action. It is the right use of divine power and will.
The message for light workers? In the War of Armageddon, know (research) thine enemy; that is, don’t be naive but be aware of what you must confront of man’s error patterns, so as better to wield the sword of truth to cut away negativity and to pronounce the light for positive action. So be it.
Note: The next day, September 25th, the startling news broke that Western intelligence agencies had confirmed that Iran has developed a secret nuclear facility, hidden heretofore from weapons inspectors and capable of containing 3,000 centrifuges to enrich uranium. (Click here.)
U.S. President Barack Obama, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, attending the G-20 economic summit in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, issued a stern warning to Iran and called on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to investigate immediately. The news of the deception heightens concerns that Iran is on a relentless path to develop nuclear weapons, and comes just days before talks between Iran and six world powers are scheduled to begin, on October 1st.
Note also the timing of my dream of the 24th, the day before the news broke. I was doing research on Mephistopheles (the demon or devil who represents mortal man’s negativity and deceptions) for Cronkite specifically for that evening’s newscast. This adds further urgency to our projections to use the sword of truth to eliminate negativity and to reinforce the four-step Christ matrix: peace, love, cooperation and coordination.
