WHEN WORKING with the constant and inevitable changes which occur in our lives, two words of advice are invaluable: pacing and patience. These can help us in the evolutionary growth process into spiritual consciousness; for there is hardly a New Age worker who is not impatient to get to the ultimate goal in a hurry.
But hurrying can defeat us. We must beware of trying to grow too fast, too soon. Nature, through the patient growth process of many plants and animals, gives us a clue. Also, it is often spoken of in parables and allegories, fables and myths; such as the story of the tortoise and the hare, and the parable that all seeds bring forth their fruit in their own time.
No one, no matter how advanced or prophetically informed, has the right to set the pacing for anyone else’s spiritual growth. This applies to everyone, as to the mass educational program now unfolding on Earth from hierarchal masters and guides.
Good sense dictates that we form a ladder by which all can climb to higher plateaus of understanding and demonstration of spiritual gifts. The hierarchal plan, as unfolded through the Mark-Age Unit and its directors since prior to 1960, has been in the form of a ladder which we light workers have had to climb. As each rung was secured in our consciousnesses and then was demonstrated to others, it provided a solid base on which millions of others could stand. Having seen this verified repeatedly over the years, we are confident in sharing and teaching it. It is the essence of truth and common sense; and common sense is the real test of truth on every level we seek to apply.
But why is it necessary to go at a slow, methodical, thorough pace in spiritual growth? Why must our patience at times be strained to the limit, to the breaking point? It is because we are in an experimental period for the New Age. The New Age will bring us into awareness, knowledge and use of higher spiritual principles and powers. Every form of life and expression on this planet will be stepped up and functioning at a hitherto-unknown pace.
If those light workers who are pioneers into the new pacing do not test out thoroughly what is needed to live in that new vibratory rate, and they succumb to the pressures of the new area of consciousness, then the millions who follow them will fall into the same pits. We have seen this wherever there are not conscientious concern and a sense of higher responsibility in family situations, businesses, new products, inventions and frontiers. The examples are endless in human history, both on the material plane as well as in the spiritual program. It is necessary to test the positive as well as the negative reactions of each new vibratory level.
Mark-Age Unit #7 has been designated, among other functions, as the testing unit for the Hierarchy. The United Staff at headquarters is trained to realize that what each one experiences is an opportunity for masters and teachers on the inner planes to gauge and to compute vibratory changes for the rest of the New Age leaders everywhere on the planet, whether they know of us or not.
We examine, both in ourselves individually and as a group, the pros and the cons of each new step, each new experience, each new concept. We evaluate these areas — as though specific rungs to be scaled on a ladder — and consider what others might experience as they climb upwards into cosmic consciousness and applications.
Each one is an individual. No two persons react to the same condition in exactly the same way. But generalities and safety measures are helpful. These are developed through prayers and projections, decrees and visualizations. Sometimes they are shared on our meditation broadcasts or in our periodicals. They also are projected to individuals, groups and the masses on Earth in hierarchal meditations or in daily noon Project Power sessions. We are not expected to know everything and to control every exigency. But every thought is a thing; and our positive projections and visualizations help build a solid foundation, a safe rung on this ladder into the fourth dimension.
Three Levels of Application
To develop pacing and patience, one must understand the manner in which the hierarchal program is externalized on Earth. It is accomplished by a transfer of hierarchal energies through three basic areas or levels of program application.
First, there are the celestial and the etheric levels, from where we get the information for the overall plan for our planet and solar system. This hierarchal plan affects the spiritual growth of every being in our solar system.
Second, there is the externalization of this plan through light workers, leaders and teachers who are demonstrating and applying the hierarchal teachings on the planet during this Mark Age period and program.
Third, there is further manifestation of the spiritual program through our individual and personal lives and in relationships with family, friends and close associates in our activities, whether these be in schools, businesses, professions or through the interactions of our neighborhood living. The hierarchal plan thus is spread throughout every form of life and expression in the race consciousness.
Let us take these three levels of application and examine how well we understand and are willing to apply truth principles in our chosen way of life for this Latter-Day accelerated program of lifting ourselves and all others on the planet into a new dimension of understanding and living.
The first level involves the celestial and the etheric planes, where the plans are conceived. Many of us undoubtedly have contributed to or have participated in this from the high Self. But not one of us on Earth is qualified to know all the plans, all the ramifications, all the alternate routes available to accomplish the hierarchal plan for evolutionary growth throughout our solar system.
Not on any level of our teaching and guiding can we ever fail to realize that the entire solar system, every dimension or plane of existence, is involved in this change of frequency. Therefore, no one group, let alone a single individual, is qualified to know everything that goes on in astral, etheric and celestial planes. We each have roles to play in this cosmic drama. We each are interdependent upon many others to play our own roles and to support others.
The master coordination for the hierarchal program takes place on Sananda’s ship #10 in the etheric. For Sananda is the rightful Prince of Earth, and his spiritual role and mission are to coordinate all information, all events — pro and con, positive steps forward and negative steps backward — to make decisive and effective recommendations.
It is not up to those on Earth to make definitive plans and recommendations of how to externalize the hierarchal plan and program. That is why we at Mark-Age have rejected such man-made policies and programs. We depend entirely on guidance from those of etheric and celestial planes to give us their recommendations.
This requires cleansing and purification of inner consciousness to receive that guidance. There are many channels who receive hierarchal guidance; it is impossible for one channel or group to receive everything. But it all must fit together, otherwise it would imply disorder, disagreement and confusion by those who are in the higher spheres and who, without question, are qualified and united.
The second level of application is that of externalizing the plan through the light workers. As we have been instructed, we are to present this hierarchal plan through the I Am Nation in five divisions of activity: I Am Network of Light, I Am Nation News, University of Life, Healing Haven, and Centers of Light.
But we do not make up the plan. We do not push our timing and pacing on other groups or individuals, be they secular or esoteric activities. We work silently and on the inner first, with a small and select number of individuals. We present introductory material to be picked up and acted upon by those who are receptive. We never insist; nor do we condemn those who do not receive with acceptance and cordiality what we present. Where truth and justice and right thinking are present, we know the time must come somewhere, sometime for acceptance.
Patience at this level is difficult but extremely necessary. One cannot force an idea on anyone not prepared to understand it. But one cannot stop an idea when its time finally has arrived.
The third level of externalizing the program is through personal application in your everyday life and affairs. Examine yourself and the overall pacing of the hierarchal program. Intune with the mentors who guide you from the higher planes. Come up with your own inner answers, as instructed by your I Am Self and master teachers. Project these solutions and ideas to the masses through your decrees and visualizations, that each one will be inspired from his or her high Self. This is our strength in the linking-of-lights program.
Consider first your deepest motives. Are they to show superiority over others, to gain power, to justify love and loyalty to you and your ideas? Be sure your motives are pure, because otherwise they will backfire. You will become subjected to those very things you are trying to teach and to demonstrate to others.
Next, examine carefully how you want to present, through your example and everyday living, this knowledge of the hierarchal program that confronts and affects every man, woman and child on Earth in this age of marks.
Are you willing to wait patiently for others to comprehend and to accept; just as you want your own higher Self, the I Am within you, to wait and to be patient with your mortal habits and falsities? Or, do you want to force growth on others? If you do, know your higher Self will force spiritual means and methods on you in a similar manner, to make you understand the pain and the difficulties of such attitudes. Recognize also that moving too fast and too soon can be forced on you via other sources or individuals with whom you will have conflicts, embarrassment and confusion.
Are you willing to live by, and do you understand the ramifications of, the law of cause and effect? Are you patient towards your spiritual growth and that of others? Do you tune in to the pace of your I Am Self?
Pray that all of us will make this commitment now to make spiritual changes with greater understanding and application of pacing and patience.
