September 24, 2009. DREAM. Preeminent newsman Walter Cronkite, the “most trusted man in America,” hired me as his editorial research assistant. Honored to be selected, I was determined to work diligently at my new job. Handing me his notes, Cronkite gave me my first assignment: thoroughly research a series of items he was preparing for that evening’s televised newscast.
Immediately I set about the task. Reading through Cronkite’s notes, I discovered this main topic: Mephistopheles. As I began my research, I awoke.
