On September 29th, one day after I posted the entry “How’s Your Weather,” on how to master our relationships and responsibilities with devic-elemental kingdoms, a powerful earthquake, measuring in magnitude between 8.0 and 8.3, struck the South Pacific. The temblor triggered a devastating tsunami that slammed into American Samoa and the island nation of Samoa. The tidal waves, 15 to 20 feet high, killed at least 99 people (many more are missing) and caused extensive destruction. [October 1st: The number of deaths are at least 150.]
Today, September 30th, a magnitude 7.6 quake hit southern Sumatra, Indonesia, killing at least 75 people. The death toll is expected to rise. [October 1st: The death toll is 1,100, and rising, with thousands missing.]
The following article, published in the September-October 2009 issue of I Am Nation News, details the spiritual Hierarchy’s guidance for understanding and working with Earth changes. Due to the urgency to step up our prayer projections, I reprint it here to reach the broader Internet audience.
ASCENDED MASTERS OF THE HIERARCHAL BOARD often have channeled guidance to the light workers regarding the many Earth changes, even dire catastrophes, that are occurring in these Latter Days. Our literature reveals many of these prophecies. For example, refer to Nada-Yolanda’s textbooks Prophecies: 2000-4000 A.D., Metamorphosis: from Mortal to Immortal, and Contacts from the Fourth Dimension.
Through our projections of light, love and balance — amplified by those in the higher planes, including from etheric spacecraft — many of the Earth changes may be mitigated, at times even eliminated, during this changeover from third into fourth dimensional frequency.
As light workers, way showers for others who struggle with such life-altering events, we must hold the light steady in order to help restore and maintain balance in human populations as well as in the natural kingdoms and the planetary logos itself.
Karmic Patterns in Earth Changes
There are karmic patterns that play out in relation to Earth changes. Two communications, published in the Mark-Age booklets Cosmic Lessons (out of print), offer keen insight. Transmitted via Gloria Lee (1926-1962), founder of Cosmon Research Foundation, these messages formed part of a series of coordinated exchanges with Mark-Age in the early 1960s.
On February 15, 1961, J. W. of Jupiter, Gloria Lee’s master teacher, channeled the following:
“When these land changes occur, they are not changing because mankind has decreed it. They are changing because man has conceived it in his consciousness to eradicate the very negation he has set up in consciousness, in the auric consciousness, in the different race consciousnesses of this planet.
“Perceive now what I mean by this. When man decrees, he maintains a desire to manifest something. When he conceives of it, he may conceive of it unknowingly within his limited consciousness of understanding. For they know not what they do. Mankind upon your planet has built up negative thought forms for centuries. These must be dissolved, consciously or unconsciously, by those who have created them.
“Man is a creator because he is in the image and likeness of God. But he is not aware of his creative abilities in his Earth consciousness. He has created many things and many forms which will dissipate under the influx of Christ consciousness. He is not able to foresee what these forms have established in the planetary consciousness of this planet. He sees not with the etheric eye, or he would cringe in horror at what he precipitated with his negative thinking.
“He immediately would turn to dissipate these thought forms with his higher consciousness and understanding of divine law, if he had developed this understanding to any degree. But he has not. So, you as students and children of light must send forth this light to help dissipate the unconscious creations of those brothers of yours who unknowingly precipitated this negative action upon the planet you call Earth.
“I know some of you are well aware of the law of karma, and I would elucidate on this law. When you are involved in Earth consciousness, you see not the manifestations of the seeds you have sown in the past, or which you do sow in the present. Be delighted, my friends, that you do not, from the Earth consciousness, for you would see things beyond your ability to accept. Let this be as it may.
“But from your newfound Christ awareness you have not conceived pure Christ consciousness as yet. You are entering the Christ-aware stages, of which there are seven. You are conceiving this Christ consciousness at this stage of your development. But in centuries past you had developed those outer thought forms and negative forces as individuals and as groups, either small groups as you represent now or large groups, as a city or a country would represent.
“These people, which are karmically tied to a group consciousness or activity that was of a negative nature in the past, are automatically drawn together by this same etheric tie that produced the negative force. Now do you follow me? In any situation, such as circumstances in the country you call Chile [reference to earthquakes in Chile in May 1960], were these people placed there without inner knowledge of the circumstances? No, my friends, they were not. They were drawn there by this etheric tie of past circumstances.
“You do not know the karmic debt that was involved, nor do I at this time care to tell you. But I will tell you this: Many incarnated in this country of Chile with the soul’s full knowledge of what would be produced within that life pattern. They knew full well the karmic ties that were established. This does not mean every soul that experienced these situations in Chile, of the volcanic developments and earthquakes and other phenomena that occurred.
“No, many souls would gain experience and understanding by developing a personality within that auric field or that group-conscious awareness of this karmic pattern. Do you see? You may not be involved in a karmic situation that may suddenly occur about you, but you are there because you have been placed there by a higher understanding than you are capable of knowing at this time.
“You have placed your personality within the hands of God, and your soul is in the hands of God. Your soul designates what the personality needs to overcome certain obstacles or hindrances, to redevelop that soul by experience to greater perfection than it can recall.”
Cleansing Negative Vortexes
J. W. again picked up elements of this theme on February 22, 1961, and channeled the following:
“We see your planet as an entity struggling to achieve greater harmony, greater understanding and greater adjustment for this Christ vibration. But without the help of mankind upon its surface and in all realms, it does not adjust easily to the tremendous struggle of such a complete change.
“Because this change is so great, there has to be a cleansing of various areas upon the planet that will release this inherited vibration that mankind has created. Whenever man precipitates a negative energy, it creates a vortex of negative power upon certain levels of vibration that make up the planetary sphere.
“You see many of these things in operation at this present time. You see hurricanes, upsetting weather conditions. This is one of the cleansing reactions to rid the atmosphere or the elemental kingdom of these negative vortexes that have been created upon the planet.
“Many times these negative vortexes are sucked into the anatomy, so to speak, of the planet itself by the weaknesses that have been created in its structure because of this precipitated negative energy. When a fault line occurs, it is because of the resistance of these negative forces against the influx of higher energy or thought. In other words, it is man’s thought against God’s that creates this resistance and this power that creates an imbalance in the force fields, or the nature of the planet, or atmospheric conditions, or whatever the case may be.
“Great force fields are produced over those areas you call fault lines. These fault lines are great receivers of energy, whether it be positive or negative. If you are fortunate enough to live on a fault line of positive energy, you are indeed blessed to have greater influx of Christ energy than the place where a negative vortex has been created, for you will find far greater confusion occurring in this time of now.”
Impact of Earth Changes
On November 29, 2007, a magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck the Windward Islands, in the Caribbean, near the island of Martinique. One of our Mark-Age Family members, whom I’ll call Anne, living in nearby Antigua, was greatly affected by the temblor and reached out to us for spiritual help. Our correspondence serves as one example of how light workers deal with the unsettling impact of Earth changes.
ANNE: We just had a massive earthquake in Antigua, coming from the island of Martinique. We have had smaller ones many times, but this one lasted 1.5 minutes! I am not good with earthquakes, as they normally make me very unsettled. (I wonder if I had a past-life experience with them?)
At this moment I feel so immensely unbalanced, even slightly dizzy. Do you know of a way to regain balance? I am feeling so weird. I cannot explain; I just have never felt like this. [Another channel] talked about being unbalanced in connection with the Earth, and told me that this whole region is unstable because of the energies and Atlantis. I just feel like bursting out in tears! Do you know anything that could be helpful to rebalance?
PHILLEL: Thank you for your e-mail alert. Yes, you are feeling the impact and the upset of that earthquake through your mental-emotional-psychic connections with all in mass consciousness in that area who also are affected. On top of that, as a light worker, you are being used by those in the higher realms (including higher-dimensional spacecraft) to project energies of balance, peace, calm, healing, and so forth, 
to all in your area. So, that is a double load, and therefore makes it difficult to regain your balance and restabilize your force field.
Immediately flush yourself with the white light, using the protection technique we have discussed before. [Download file here. Also, see blog entry “Protection Technique: Cocoon of Light.”] See this cocoon of divine white light surrounding you, infusing you with the Christ balance and healing, directly from your I Am Self. Do this several times a day, if need be, to re-secure your solid anchoring in the light. And when you feel balanced, project this light also to all others and to the natural kingdoms, even to the land itself that has suffered.
It may help in your visualization also to begin with the Lord’s Prayer, as a way to solidify your connection with Spirit and to speak aloud your intent to be in the light. You might also want to intone (sing) several Om‘s aloud to help build up the force field of light.
Remember, a lot of what you are picking up is from the disturbed thought patterns within humankind, also the upsets in the natural kingdoms (animals, plants, minerals). So, protect yourself by securing the cocoon of white light around you at all times. That way, you’ll also be much more effective in your ability as a light worker to project peace and balance to others. But it has to start first with yourself.
Realize, too, that those in the astral realms are upset. Through the akashic soul threads, memories of the destruction of Atlantis have surfaced in these Latter Days. These memories have to be reevaluated, reprogramed, healed, brought into greater alignment with Christ action. So, disturbances such as earthquakes (which often also outpicture the tremors in mass thought forms of humans) trigger these soul memories that have to be rebalanced.
Stand in the light. Be in the light. Be the light that you are. And we here support you in these spiritual efforts. So be it.
ANNE: Thank you so much for your support. It really means a lot to me, as in moments like these I need the reassurance of a backup.
I am grasping the bigger picture of what is happening to the Earth. To be really honest, many times it brings me to tears, but also makes me very fearful. That’s why I am so desperate to find the I Am. I wish to accomplish that before it is too late. I so want to make a difference to this world we live in.
We have been having small earthquakes for the last few years (we are next door to Montserrat where the volcano erupted a few years ago). Every time before one happens (mostly at night), I wake up before it, even if I am in a deep sleep.
When one happens, I am almost trembling with fear. I have problems breathing. Why the panic? Do I 
understand you right: it is not mine but others? I do pick up those feelings. I would feel panic and wonder why, because there is no reason to be feeling like that.
Yesterday, after the quake, I sat on the ground in the garden for a long time, couldn’t catch my thoughts, was dizzy, started to get bad pains in my lower back, and felt fearful again! My heart was pounding. I have never felt so unaligned and so physically and mentally disturbed. Thank you for explaining to me why I was feeling like that.
I did the protection last night over me and my family, and to my surprise I became very calm. I feel much better today. I can actually be in my house without the fear of it happening again.
For about six months now I have had the feeling we need to leave Antigua. But where would we go? I keep posing that question, but nothing has come up yet. Since yesterday’s earthquake, I keep having thoughts of this island splitting in half and sinking. Am I just being foolish? Are those my thoughts? Is it a warning? As you can see, I have so many questions.
I want to scream from the mountaintop to everyone to change and save this Earth, but they would probably think I am crazy. Yes, I feel hopeless many times. So, thank you for lending me an ear and helping me catch myself. I am so grateful.
PHILLEL: Thank you for your further explanations of the various reactions you feel. Yes, some of these feelings indeed are coming from your own subconscious — perhaps even influenced by recall from past lives — and that misalignment makes you even more sensitive to the jumbled reactions from mass consciousness. That is why it is essential for you to double up your work on spiritual protection and alignment, to produce better balance within your four lower bodies (astral, mental, emotional, physical), and thereby to become more effective in your spiritual projections and prayers to counteract these imbalances, personally and planetarily.
It is not unusual for sensitive light workers to pick up earthquakes and other natural disturbances before they happen, so don’t feel alone in that. Actually, it is a blessing from Spirit to be able to sense these things psychically so that we can immediately go to work to project balance to mankind and the nature forces, to help alleviate the severity of the potential disturbance.
There is no place to hide, there is no safe place on Earth. All of us are directly affected in this planetary War of Armageddon — light versus darkness within the souls of humankind. There is no place immune from any and all kinds of upsets and calamities, man-made or natural. So, the best thing to do is to tune in to your I Am Self and serve where Spirit wants you to be, in order to be of the greatest service to humanity. Indeed, that place may be in the heart of a disaster, if that is where Spirit needs you for the highest good of your soul mission and your service to others.
Be love in action, and you will always be in the right place at the right time, no matter what.
It is good to hear that you experienced immediate effects of doing the white-light protection visualization. Keep it up daily, whenever you need to secure divine protection for yourself and others.
By the way, many times the higher acceleration of light frequencies — either from one’s own I Am Self, other fourth dimensional beings, or from interdimensional spacecraft — can produce a sensation of dizziness as one adjusts to that higher frequency. I’m not saying this is the case all the time with you, as there seem to be other subconscious/soul factors at work. But it is something to consider. God bless you and keep you always. We are one/won in the light.

Awesome entry, Phillel. So, this is what would have gone down at Atlantis, right: buildup of a negative energy vortex (created through error thinking and action) that resulted in a massive Earth change?
Thank you, Arcturus. Yes, the Atlantean demise basically resulted from negative thinking and a lack of adhering to cosmic law and principle. But remember, the fall of Atlantis (and Lemuria, too) occurred over thousands of years and through a series of cataclysms, with the final destruction taking place about 10,000-13,000 years ago.
