THE BETTER PART OF YOURSELVES IS SPIRIT. This is the part which you strongly desire to see made manifest, more and more, in your affairs and in the world itself. The lesser parts, which are your feeling-emotional nature and the physical body through which you function, are the temporary aspects of your total being and are not the major concerns of your expression. Yet what has man done throughout the endless ages on the Earth plane but expressed and put forth, the majority of the time, and made the most emphasis of, the feelings that are strong or are impassive, the activities of his body which are beautiful in some cases and ugly in others?

What are you to do to bring about these balances and to give forth the better part of yourselves in the coming age? This should be the primary concern and activity before you now. This should and must be the primary concern to rebalance that which is imbalanced for all these eons of time upon the Earth planet. I have given this in many teachings and I give again and again these thoughts. For thought is the product of mind, and mind is spirit. Therefore, the better part of myself has been giving forth that which you must accept and work with in the better part of yourself.

Too many times have we been willing to put aside the mind function and to say that it is to be considered or worked with in later times, or that it does not matter as much as the two other aspects of ourselves, which are the feeling emotions and the physical activities. You have before you a wonderful challenge in this rebalancing effort. Could you but see that you are on a scale, and you have these three parts and they must be balanced. You have a fertile field in which to work or plastic substance with which to mold the best that you possibly can be and the fulfillment of your own destiny as children of God. It is the most wonderful adventure of all, it is the most exciting challenge of all, this rebalancing of ourselves to that which is proper and good and beneficial.

First of all, you have so many things that are in unhealthy concept. You think that you can change the world and the ones who are in the world without first changing yourself; or shall we just say rebalancing, in order to make it seem less dramatic to your minds. But this in itself is upside down and inside out. Your first obligation and responsibility, your first challenge and adventure, are within your own consciousness and your own higher being. Let us then each begin where we are and with the material we have at our command. See yourselves as upon these scales of justice and right, forthcoming, and bring about the extra special conditions which shall entail a balanced, fine instrument of God consciousness.

All is well and all is proper in this activity of mind power. You take and analyze that which is in your life and in your thoughts and expressions, and see: are these the products of merely physical energies, emotional energies and concepts or are they mental, of the highest quality of mental; are they controlled by those thoughts of eternal and perfect being? Thinking is not just enough, for it involves many aspects and areas of thought. But it is the quality of the thought that we are interested in seeing you bring about perfectly here. Therefore, just the thinking process is not enough to put the proper weight upon the scale and to judge it in the perspective that is necessary. It must be the right kind of thinking.

This thinking that we are concerned with involves the beauty and purity and perfection of the God Self which is within. These thoughts of Godlike individuals are already well-known. They are the thoughts which bring about and which do good, which feel good. So, let us begin in a very individual and primary manner at this time to bring about that which must be brought about by all men. However, in order to change or to transmute all men into this higher endeavor, we necessarily must begin where we are. You must begin with yourselves. This is only the first step. For then you may expand out your thoughts to others and to other conditions, realizing that it is the higher power and the higher functioning of your individual Christ Selves when you do this.

Simple Rule for All Situations

Let us give a simple example of what we are saying precisely, so that there can be no mistaking or misinterpretation of it. Then you must apply this very simple example to all the most complex problems that beset you on the face of this Earth for now and in the future. You are given a problem: a condition arises in the Earth, of which you are not personally involved and in which you cannot participate personally yourselves. You may have very strong feelings about this condition. They may be feelings of horror, upset, negativity in the respect of denying them or wishing that they no longer existed. They may be feelings of disgust and terror. They may be feelings that are of change within you; in other words, you may feel that this will cause a change in your own personal affairs if this situation continues to exist.

How can you affect what this situation is? By going out and doing something about it, making some sort of physical protest or physical denial of it in some dangerous respect, perhaps? Yes, if that is the level on which you are working; if that is the function you find yourselves in at that particular time without plunging into it, without thought behind it. Yes, this may be proper for you at that particular time and in that particular place. To allow the emotions to go rampant and to feel and to arouse your energies to the point where you are ineffective and disturbed and imbalanced regarding other situations; no, this is not correct.

But to feel the sense of righteousness, to feel that God must put these things right for the most and the many and the all; that is correct. To feel that you are a part of all that is going on, and that what affects one affects you; this also is proper. But what is even higher and even more effective are the mental projections toward the situation. These mental projections are of the highest energy force and vibration; provided they are of Spirit, the best part of yourself.

How to have these best thoughts is experimental and a part of growing, a part of experience. You will not always have the best thoughts immediately, especially if you have not trained yourselves to allow these thoughts to predominate and to control your being and your nature. In other words, if you have allowed your emotions to overshadow and to plague your best thoughts, then you cannot say the thoughts that are coming forth from you are those that are pure. But your emotions are coloring them, and therefore you cannot say that you have given the spiritual energy an opportunity to express itself; because it is clouded by the other aspects of your being nature.

The same also applies if you put a tremendous amount of physical energy and power into a situation. You have overshadowed and clouded that physical activity, unless it first was prompted by spiritual thought, spiritual consciousness, and the ideas that God wishes to have expressed through those physical energy participations. This is how you must work; not the other way around, as you have been doing for eons of time upon this particular dimension; which is a physical dimension and has a strong physical pull or a strong physical radiation to it, being the nature of this certain vibration frequency which we call Earth planet functioning and incarnational pattern.

This, then, is a simple explanation and pattern which you can apply in all situations. It starts of course, as said, with the individual in the place where he is now, concerning his own bodily functions, concerning his own emotional reactions and relationships to those of his immediate environment. It concerns those things that you think about in your daily activities, problems and business affairs. Start there. Practice and train yourselves until you are sure that in these simple situations you have the control.

First, Spirit’s thoughts in and about that situation. Second, the right feeling about that person, situation or condition; the right feeling, of course, being that which is of love, kindness, compassion, thoughtfulness, and the desire to see the oneness and unification of all as sons of God. Then the activities that follow in your personal affairs and crises are those activities which are directed first by the spiritual thought that went behind them and second by the feeling of love and generosity that impels the proper act to come forth.

These things are not new, nor do I profess to give you something new at this time; for you may find them in many philosophies and religious patterns, some of which I myself helped to bring forth and to foster. But what I am bringing forth at this time that is new and is urgent is that the activity of balance must begin immediately in your own affairs and in your own functioning. Not a moment more is to be wasted.

Responsibility in Planetary Evolvement

For the greater works, which must be accomplished upon the planet at this time and in this Mark Age period and program, require all collectively working together in the proper manner as a group; not one, not twelve, not seventy or one hundred and forty-four, but the symbolic and literal one hundred and forty-four thousand workers of Christ consciousness, in order to bring about the same awareness and desire and actions within the race structure as it manifests upon the planet at this particular time and age.* Awareness of God, one; feeling-emotion, two; action in all respects, three.

Let it be said again that you have this responsibility in the entire planetary evolvement. As brought forth, you are part of that evolvement, and you affect that evolvement according to the level upon which you are working.

Those who have worked in the past eons of time and, as you have recorded in your historical records and study with such seriousness, who have acted without proper thought and proper feeling behind it in a manner that changed the course of physical events, left but a temporary scar in some cases or a temporary improvement in other cases. For they are working only and strictly by and with their physical energy force. This force of itself dies, for it is not of Spirit. Those who have created many images and many ideas and philosophies, schools of thought, via their tremendous emotional or feeling natures, likewise have created but temporary situations; which were less temporary than those who brought forth these new aspects from the physical energies or activities of their desires.

What I am saying actually is that the least permanent, the least effective energy force is that which is strictly physical. Next in time and in impact are those things which are done strictly from the desire or feeling nature. Although these things might last for tens or hundreds of years, they still are not permanent. They still do not leave a lasting impression from which others can guide themselves or utilize. You need but look at the entire historical record of the planetary progress to know that of which I am speaking.

However, those who have brought forth ideas or concepts that were of a spiritual nature, that were derived from the mental aspects or mind concepts rooted in and received from the spiritual nature of the universe, have left indelible marks upon the race consciousness, and upon the pattern of racial structure, in its everlasting growth and evolvement process. If this be the case, and the proof already is there, then why not heed the example that is set forth via this? Why continue to waste time and energy by doing things backwards and upside down and inside out? If this is the pattern that has been set down and is obvious to any thinking individual, then why continue to stir up the situation by putting forth only physical energies or combining physical energies with some proper feeling that does not resolve itself in the essential mental activity and consciousness that go behind it?

For in other places and spheres, in other levels of development, the sons of God work first with their mind powers. Then they apply the proper feelings and desires with them and let them manifest in an outward way. These, of course, are not always physical, third dimensional aspects or functions as you know them on this particular planet and in this particular frequency vibration. But they do manifest in an outward activity, according to the vehicle that they are operating in at the time or the role that they are incarnated in at that time.

We are concerned, naturally, with the three-dimensional sphere, because this is the sphere that we are rebalancing and bringing into proper focus at this time. Also, we are bringing forth this information and these works upon this planet now, operating in a three-dimensional frequency at this time. Therefore, do not deny this or dismiss this thesis by saying: he speaks only of that which is to come, and not that which is here present now. For I speak of the now. I speak of the present situation. I speak of Earth evolvement. I speak to you, my disciples and my helpmates, where you are and with the problems with which you are concerned at this time.

So let us begin to change; first ourselves, and then the situations which involve and affect all men everywhere upon the planet equally. This is the second feature of what we are bringing forth at this time. . . . You are important to that which is going on in your world now, as well as the fact that you can change what is going on in your world now. First, as already mentioned, you must begin the work, practice and perfect it, within yourselves, your own situation, your own body. Physician, heal thyself, first of all. Then, physician, you can heal others and can heal the world. That is what we are concerned with, naturally. But we are as equally concerned with each and every soul as we are concerned with the entire race manifesting and preparing itself upon planet structure evolvement.

Think, Feel, Act in Spirit

What you think is a power and a force. What you feel is a lesser power and force. What you do is still less than the other two levels of your being. Weigh these scales as you begin to think about, feel about and act upon conditions in your environment and in the world. I say unto you that there is no situation or problem anywhere on the planet that you cannot affect. But you cannot affect it by doing something about it, in most cases. You can have little influence on it by feeling one way or the other about it, next. But you can have a tremendous effect upon it by what and how you think upon that situation.

Think negative things about it and you add further problems and weight and troubles to the situation that exists perhaps thousands of miles from you. Think positive, constructive, loving and bountiful thoughts about it and you begin to sway and to change and to rebalance the scale as it is analyzing that which is going on those thousands of miles away from you. Add to those thoughts the proper feeling, the feeling of love, the feeling of upliftment, the feeling of union, the feeling of peace, the feeling of enjoyment, the feeling of good, and the thoughts have that much more energy to work with in that situation. If then you are guided and put in the position where certain actions on your part are required in that situation, though it be thousands of miles away, you know that you have given it the proper thought, the right emotions; therefore, the actions in themselves must be correct for that situation in which you become involved.

Is this all? Yes and no. You can call upon the assistance of others in other places and in higher spheres, only through this activity of proper and right action. The lower thoughts, the negative energies, call upon forces which are in that same frequency. Therefore, what you are doing is putting more weight upon the scale and dragging it further down instead of lifting it up. You are not helping, but hindering, that very situation which you desire to see corrected or transmuted or lifted into proper activity.

So, you still can say that all you can do is to have right thought and proper feeling about the condition, and call forth those on other planes who have the same desires and evolvement and understanding as you. Or you can bring about, through the lowered vibration of your energies, those who are not evolved yet to anything higher than what you yourself are demonstrating. So, you of yourself are the most important element in this activity, are you not? For by your own thoughts and feelings you bring others into it, whom you either consciously command or unconsciously attract. Still we come back to the common denominator or the primary purpose, and that is spiritual consciousness, spiritual endeavors, spiritual feeling.

We wish you to see that all in this way are interrelated and interdependent upon one another. We wish you to see that in this way you are helping a situation, and you are participating in every situation. In the past times, when we had a limited expression of communicating and exchanging on this particular sphere known as Earth, there were only some situations that you consciously could work upon. Naturally this is obvious. For you can work only upon those things which you are conscious of and which you wish to transmute from conscious into spiritual energy. The conscious part of your mind only can work upon it to a certain level or degree. Then you must leave the way open for the spiritual thoughts, feelings and activities to supersede or to absorb all this conscious energy.

In the past, before the ability to communicate within an instant any news, any idea, any situation to every single one upon the planet (and this is possible today), you were limited in what could be done and who could participate in it. That was the past. Now the prophecy is to be fulfilled: that which I have done in the past, ye shall do; and greater things than I have done. These greater things are such that all men can participate as one unit, one family, all sons of God, in those problems which affect every single soul upon the planet. There is nothing that you are unable to change, provided you work in the proper way. Everything you think about and feel about and act upon, you affect. Therefore, be very circumspect in that in which you participate. Be very careful where you apply this tremendous power and energy.

Be Citizens of God Consciousness

You are in the Latter Days and these lessons are the lessons of which you must be aware consciously. You are in those times when you shall be forced to choose. For your soul is at the balancing point of evolvement; to go with God or to go the way of mankind’s past errors. The choice is strictly yours. We cannot make the choice for you. We only can set the examples and give you the conditions that exist truthfully. We consist of those who have made the choice already and have weighed the scales and have participated in the general evolutionary good of this pattern.

We consist of those who have come, and shall continue to come, and teach and guide and love you all, individually and collectively without exception. There is none too poor, in the balance of his good and bad qualities, whom we do not desire to help and to lift and to bring into Spirit’s life and love. There is none too highly developed who can live and love and exist outside of the bonds that join each and every one of us in the union of our brotherhood. There are none with whom we are not concerned in one aspect or another.

We are the spiritual government, you might call it, of this hierarchal plan. A spiritual government is that which is governed by Spirit and governs for Spirit. So be assured, when we use this terminology, that it has this definition in your thoughts predominantly. Those of us who are guiding and guarding you to become part of that spiritual government are concerned that you understand that everyone is part and can be part and participate in the hierarchal system of Spirit’s plan for man.

A government consists not only of those who are the functionary diplomats and executors of the plan but it consists of all who make up that body of Christ consciousness. You are all citizens in that body of Christ. Therefore, are you good or poor citizens of that body? Do you know of someone somewhere that is tearing down the orderly process of governing that body, of leading it into a better and more perfect expression of life? Then you can affect him or it by your thoughts about it. Your feelings must be that all are one; and One is in the all.

This is the main purpose of teaching this information about our spiritual government now. What you do about it is to be the end result of that which you have thought and have felt about it in the proper consciousness and from the proper conception. Let it be said that you thought first, put feeling into it, and acted upon these two perfect qualities, that are cleansed and purified first before any action on your part is undertaken. This, then, is the pattern and the theme of future activities upon the Earth in these coming days, in this immediate future. . . .

That there are more pertinent demonstrations that shall encourage and pull us all forward are to be revealed gradually. You will participate in them. For, as already stated, there is not one thing now upon the Earth planet in manifestation that cannot and should not be revealed to all men equally. This is due to the new level of physical activity that has been brought into evolvement for this time and this place. This has been the slow and gradual process under the guidance and guardianship of those who are executing the spiritual plan and government for this Earth and solar system.

You have been brought to this state of conscious evolvement now so that you will be able consciously to participate in every demonstration for good; and to be able to make the choice at this time as to whether you will go with good or continue to live and to experiment with the errors that have been rampant here and elsewhere. You are given this choice: to be citizens of God consciousness; or outcasts, in error life. Now is the time; this is the hour. We are in the final days. Let it begin with each one now; where you are and with those situations which confront and puzzle you in the immediate moment. So be it, in truth. I am truth, light and love, Jesus the Christ.

* The 144,000 elect, or so-called chosen ones, are the demonstrators and teachers of Christ powers during the Latter Days. The number is literal, in that at least that number must so demonstrate to achieve the spiritual goal of lifting man into the fourth dimension, and symbolic, in that it does not preclude any number of additional ones from being included.
