ONE OF THE GREATEST SERVICES every group, no matter its size, can perform is collective prayer. Prayer is a positive thought or a divine decree, stating a spiritual truth about a matter which is imbalanced. No request is too small, no problem is too insignificant for the Christ Self to be concerned about.
But uppermost in the minds of all must be that no person is required to ascertain or to give the answer. It is each one’s responsibility to know that Spirit alone has the knowledge and the power to do all things. We are the instruments of Spirit. Through us as instruments the answer may be given or the spiritual power may be directed to correct the situation.
Following is the form Mark-Age uses for requests for healing. Healing means to make things whole or to bring conditions into balance. The condition to be worked upon may involve: (a) physical or mental health; (b) personal relationships; (c) specific needs; (d) the transition of a soul from one plane to another, including birth of the soul onto the Earth plane; or (e) decrees for a group, community, state, nation or the entire race of man on the planet.
Through the power of Spirit within
we see the following condition manifested now:

As we see it, so be it. We give our thanks.
(1) Never state the error condition that exists. Only state the spiritual or balanced condition you wish to see come into manifestation. Sometimes a person is so involved in his problem he does not know what the proper or spiritual state should be. You, on the impersonal and detached level, should go into meditation and ask Spirit through you to make the decree or the request.
(2) It is best to have a name or a description or the relationship to a known individual, with an address, clearly stated.
(3) Write it down; fold the paper and put the date of the request on the outside; place it in a sanctified vessel, such as a box.
(4) Eliminate each request at the end of thirty days for that request.
(5) In your daily meditations and prayerful moments remember to send love, blessings, power, good to those who are in your prayer chest.
(6) Remember there are higher beings on the inner planes, who work with you in all your spiritual efforts, who also are aware of those requests. Know they are helping in their own way to bring the condition into balance.
(7) If you or the group desires to be aware of results, ask those who make requests to give you a periodic report on the progress of the problems. But do not keep digging up, looking at, examining, questioning while the spiritual work is going on. This is like the gardener who plants a seed, then digs it up to see if it is growing. Have faith. God hears, and God is in action.
(8) If after thirty days the person requests continued prayer for his problem, repeat the procedure. But know that Spirit knows all needs even before we make our requests. Spirit is balance. Therefore, It works eternally toward harmonious conditions and relationships. Only man on the physical, emotional and mental levels needs the discipline of repetition in order to fortify his faith.
(9) Some groups desire to develop a strong prayer circle. They set aside a definite part of their meeting time for concentration and collective prayer. One of the members or the group leader can do this immediately after reciting the Lord’s Prayer and building the light of protection around the group, just before the period of going into the long silence of meditation.
This would be the appropriate time to make formalized spiritual statements or decrees for mankind, the lesser kingdoms, world leaders, countries, and the evolution of the planet from third into fourth dimensional frequency.
